The Ladies of the Philoptochos Society, Madison Chapter, is a philanthropic organization. Philoptochos means friend of the poor. Since its inception 90 years ago, this organization has worked tirelessly to support people in need locally, nationally, and internationally.
Our biggest annual fundraiser is Baklava+.

We help the destitute, the hungry, the aged, the sick, the unemployed, the orphaned, the imprisoned, the widowed, those with disabilities and the victims of disaster. We are part of a larger national organization with 26,000 members and more than 400 active chapters nationwide. We are the Madison, Wisconsin Chapter.
